Peter is a little nutty.
He built a MACHINE for blending sounds & beats.
He calls it the cuisNart.
Rob is an audio nerd.
He likes stripping out the NOISE so you can feel the BASS.
Peter & Rob play music.
They call it DEEPFRIED.
Andy Z runs GADGETBOX recording studios
But really Andy runs a community.
Andy lined up THREE days of transient talent, wandering through his labyrinth of isolation rooms, cheering everyone on and sprinkling delight all around.
Gabe, the compression greaser, the beat suplimentarian, the hail Marry master of the VERSE, made sure all the dots connected and sounds perfected, signals protected and rhythms resurrected.
Twenty four songs recorded
on thirty two tracks
averaging thirty minutes each
consuming over one hundred Gigabytes of disk space
featuring eight vocalists
six cool cats on the keys
four paws plucking bass strings
four key charmers rolling old-school analogue classic down and dirty synths
& ONE flute, trumpet, violin, cello, standup bass, harmonica, darbouka, sentir, and even a bong
although the bong sounds were actually scrubbed during production
distilled into NINE glorious tracks and aged for
5 years

Peter's Epilogue
I grew up in a family that built every social event around jam sessions. There were always instruments lying around inviting us to play. It has always been my dream to infuse improvisation with technology to better capture and share the awe-inspiring feeling of jamming. I want every participant to sound epic and to be able to hear it clearly after the fact. In facilitating this album, Andy helped me to realize an elusive dream. It's not just another recording for me. It's an experience.
